Red Rocks Rwanda has launched an interactive Live Cultural Streaming Program on YouTube, offering audiences around the world the opportunity to experience Rwanda's rich cultural heritage in real time. Developed through the collaboration of Red Rocks Initiatives and Red Rocks Base Camp, the programme uses digital technology to bring authentic, community-led tourism experiences to a global audience while creating meaningful connections across borders.

More than simply broadcasting cultural events, the platform encourages active participation. Viewers can join live traditional storytelling sessions, cultural performances, heritage workshops and craft demonstrations, engaging directly with local community members, artisans and cultural practitioners. This interactive approach allows communities to share their living traditions, oral histories and skills with audiences worldwide, while preserving and celebrating Rwanda's cultural heritage.

By making these experiences accessible online, the initiative helps overcome geographic and financial barriers that often limit participation in cultural tourism. At the same time, it creates new opportunities for local artists and storytellers to reach international audiences, strengthen their visibility and generate sustainable livelihood opportunities.

The programme also aims to inspire future travel by introducing viewers to Rwanda's community-based tourism initiatives. By fostering dialogue and cultural exchange between visitors and rural communities, it promotes responsible tourism built on mutual understanding, respect and collaboration.
